The SecureFX client application lets you choose
between SFTP using an encrypted SSH2 connection for
secure transfers, or standard FTP for non secure
transfers. It has a simple Explorer-like interface, s
it's easy to learn and use while offering powerful
automation capabilities for unattended, secure file
transfers.

SecureFX makes it easier than ever to perform secure
file transfers, whether you use the new drag-and-drop
capabilities to transfer files by dragging or pasting
to Windows Explorer and other applications or take
advantage of SecureFX automation features for
unattended file transfers. Version 3.0 provides
enhanced integration with SecureCRT?5.0, support for
IPv6, new notification tools, and the ability to run
multiple instances of the application.

Enhanced drag and drop: SecureFX 3.0 now allows you t
drag and drop (or copy and paste) files to and from
Windows Explorer, the desktop, and other applications
(e.g., WinZip), letting you transfer files more
easily.

Integration with SecureCRT: Now SecureFX and SecureCR
work together better than ever. The two programs can
share the global options, session options, and the
host key database so you only need to perform
operations like setting application defaults, session
settings, or accepting a server's host key once.

Named firewalls: You can now create any number of
firewall configurations that can be used on a
session-specific basis.

Event sounds: You now have the option to play a
designated alert sound file on connection, transfer,
and error events.

IPv6: SecureFX 3.0 supports the IPv6 standard, which
addresses limitations with the current IPv4 standard.
